The Games will be hosted by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and undertaken by Chongqing Sports Bureau, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions and Chongqing Yongchuan District People's Government.

At 19:50 on May 18, 2021, in Yongchuan Sports Center, the opening ceremony of the 6th Chongqing Games was grand opening!On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 6th Chongqing Games will be held in Yongchuan District, Chongqing from March to May 2021. The Games will be hosted by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and undertaken by Chongqing Sports Bureau, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions and Chongqing Yongchuan District People's Government.
In order to carry forward Chongqing's spirit of "staying true to the original aspiration and forging ahead" in the new journey, in order to interpret Yongchuan's humanistic spirit of "courageously standing at the head of the tide and embracing all rivers" in the development.The Games were jointly organized by Yongchuan District Culture and Tourism Development Committee of Chongqing Municipality and Beijing Youjing Culture and Film Development Co., Ltd. (Youjing Culture for short).This is also following the 13th Games of the People's Republic of China in 2017, the Second Youth Games of the People's Republic of China in 2019, the Tenth National Para Games and the Seventh Special Olympics in 2019, the chief director Meng Ke, Gao Yan and the chief creative team to explain the "Bayu Legend".
