The year 2020 is destined to be an extraordinary year. In order to show the unforgettable moment of the year to the audience, the New Year's Eve ceremony takes "seven program groups + three major parts" as the main body, and enters 7 groups, including medical team members and aerospace researchers, to show their mission. On the last day of the year, the well-designed New Year gift is sent to the audience.Share their New Year's resolutions and dreams.
The ceremony consists of three parts: "Sailing to See China", "China's Responsibility" and "Performance".Focusing on the Chinese dream, we will integrate various art forms such as song, dance, reciting, magic, and other major events in China in 2020 to show the Chinese spirit, highlight Chinese values, tell Chinese stories, and create a happy atmosphere for the Chinese people as they celebrate the New Year.
In addition to the show, this year's stage art has also been upgraded again.Stage design Sun Chenglong designed the stage shape as a flying saucer suspended in the air. In order to enrich the functionality and diversity of the stage, he added many mechanical devices and props, presenting a multi-level and three-dimensional visual effect of stage design under various mechanical changes.The design of the water area last year is still applied this year. In addition to the fountain effect in the water area, the mirror effect of water is used to create the program this year.This year also blended in a lot of new technologies on vision, such as virtual, XR, etc.
The lighting design of the ceremony was led by Wang Zhe and Shang Wei Visual Team.The stage design of the grand ceremony centered on the theme of "setting sail and looking at China" to design a 360-degree spaceship. Based on this, the lighting design carried out a visual package of 270 degrees on the spaceship. The main background was designed as a matrix lamp wall to enhance the height of the overall vision of the stage.
In program overall director hope visually reflect the beauty of the country, and hope "New Year's festival" can pass the temperature to the audience, this just the lighting vision with us and so on in the evening we didn't design exaggerated modelling but light design more beautiful more in line with the program key way of lighting, contracted and not simple.
The lighting design of this grand ceremony is 1600 lights to build the whole stage, and all lights use the largest channel, which makes the work more difficult in system engineering.But in the same basic stage design programming 55 shows, and let each show have their own different visual language, this is still a great challenge for the team, so from the details is the focus of the lighting design team, the team finally live up to expectations, to deliver a perfect answer paper.
